A new day…..

Where's mum?

We've got the hang of this now

Got up at 5.30 am to check on Esme who had a difficult farrowing yesterday. Looked in on Becky – snoring and piglets in the creep. She has them organised. They are doing well.

All was well with Esme – no squashed piglets and all feeding. Found more afterbirth so will keep a check on her. I hope she will get plenty of rest today….dear Esme.

On track for London marathon

Early spring sunshine

Training for the Virgin London Marathon is going well – so far so good.  Yesterday’s long run was around Champdeniers. From Le Logis we headed east to St Marc-la-Lande. Then on to La Boisiere en-Gâtine. Down through Le Groseillers and then on to Pamplie. An undulating 13m rural route with stunning distant views taking your mind off the effort required to climb the hills. I have been promised a much easier route next week.
